It's a great way to find inspiration in the kitchen, create recipe boxes and make shopping lists.

Intuitive interface with some instructions

Developers from Allrecipes are keen on delivering apps with sleek interfaces, making it easy to browse through multiple recipes and use all the app's features to make a recipe box or create a shopping list.

It doesn't come with additional themes or customization options, and there are no notifications. Still, we're confident that new recipes are added periodically. All users must register with an account, you can use your Facebook profile or email address.

Browse through multiple recipes

The side menu on the left makes it easy to access any section from wherever you are in the app. Dinner Spinner opens with a list of all featured recipes, but there are few suggestions. Use the search bar to find recipes with specific ingredients, those that take only a certain amount of time or imply some dietary needs, like low-fat, vegetarian or low-carb.

The recipes are posted by users from the website, they come with HD pictures and a short description by the uploader. In addition, they mention the average time for preparing the dish and a very comprehensive list of ingredients and instructions. There's also a list of nutrition facts for each recipe and you have the option of messaging uploaders or read user reviews.

Create shopping lists and use the dinner spinner feature

Recipes can be shared or added to your shopping list or recipe box. Once you're done cooking the meal, you can add a photo to the recipe and rate it so other users would know if they should also try it.

The dinner spinner feature consists of three bars and helps you get random suggestions of meals. Shake your phone or tap on bars to spin and select random dish types, chicken or interval of time.
