All the information you need to know about the weather packed in a neat app

Aside from missed calls and received messages, one of the things people constantly check on their phones is the weather. Yes, plain old weather predictions can influence one's moods and give headaches when it comes to getting dressed. AccuWeather is one of the most accurate providers of weather forecasts and now they launched an app for mobile devices.

Weather forecasts for several locations

The app is quite neat and easy-to-use. Simply choose several locations and AccuWeather will provide the latest weather information for said places. It displays temperatures, in Fahrenheit or Celsius, together with realfeel values, humidity, visibility, pressure, dew point and wind speed. It also shows a short prediction of this week's weather. All the information is delivered with the use of neat animations, graphs and charts.

Detailed forecasts and temperature values

The app also comes with a minute cast section, that displays expected precipitation by hour and according to location. There's also a cicle that shows expected rains and wind speed. Just slide the screen to the left and AccuWeather shows a graph of expected temperatures and weather phenomenons for the upcoming hours.

In addition, you can also check the weather for the whole month. All the locations that you've previously selected are arranged into maps and if you tap on on, the app displays cloud covers for the next days. However, don't rely on this app too much as the information isn't always reliable.

Videos and news on the weather

If you really want to stay informed on forecasts and weather-related news, the app comes with a video section, filled with clips on weather forecasts and a news section with all the latest weather-related events. Also, you can enable severe weather alerts for your home location or other places.

AccuWeather app also comes with several widgets for your homescreen. They display temperatures, the time and predictions for upcoming days, so you'll always be informed on the weather and its changes.
