It's a great source of inspiration for when you can't project your true feelings into words. Love Messages could have been a great app if it wasn't for the bad grammar and multitude of ads.
Simplistic and poorly designed UI
You'd expect such an app to come in appealing colors, but the app sports boring shades of gray and black. The interface comes with few features that fit in the toolbar at the top of the screen, right above the ever changing banner ad. In fact, the app is filled with ads, including annoying full screen ones.
There's also a section for rating the app and suggestions of other applications created by the developer. Love Messages app doesn't have instructions, but you wouldn't need them anyway.
Choose from various categories, bookmark messages you like
With all its shortcomings, the app is very well organized. All messages are arranged into categories, including break-up texts, flirts, romantic and sad messages related to love. The number of texts is featured next to each category.
Simply tap on one and it will open the whole text, together with the option of sharing it on social networks or bookmarking it. You can also adjust the text size or copy it to your device. In addition, the app comes with texts in English and Hindi.
Some shortcomings
It also lacks notifications for when the list is updated, which makes us think that no new messages are ever added. Still, the app comes with 5,000 messages to choose from.
There's much to say when it comes to content. Almost all texts have serious grammar mistakes, all words begin with a capital letter, poems don't rhyme and some messages are simply cheesy pick-up lines that you couldn't possibly send in a text and expect to get a date.
