Weather 5 days 1.8.5
Weather 5 days is a cute app but it comes with many flaws, despite its high rating and number of downloads on Google Play Store.
Dated and a bit tiring interface
The whole purpose of weather apps is to provide you with the possibility to check the weather and get the information you need fast, without spending too much time inside the app.
It doesn't come with a tutorial or any kind of instructions to get you started but the app isn't that complex but visuals might be a bit tiring to the eye. That's because the app is very colorful and the banner ads are really annoying, taking the whole focus away from the useful information presented inside the app.
Check the weather in multiple locations
The first thing that you'll need to do inside the app is pick a default location, you can do so by typing in the name of your city or enabling location services on your phone so that the app can find you through the GPS. Once you've done that you'll get detailed information like humidity levels, precipitation, cloud cover, visibility and altitude.
You'll also get the forecasts for the coming hours and for the upcoming five days. You can check more details if you tap on a day, as the app will provide you with temperature levels for specific hours. The app records your last searches so that you can check the weather in multiple locations.
Favorite locations and adjust settings
The app also lets you favorite locations on your phone, so that you can check the weather faster. Other than that, you can change the units of measurement and switch from Fahrenheit to Celsius, km/h for wind speed, meters for altitude, etc.
Basically, you can choose between the metric and imperial systems, but for each section inside the app. Weather 5 days comes with really annoying banner ads that aren't placed on the bottom of the screen but rather in the middle.
It also has popup ads which can truly be annoying, still you can remove them if you upgrade to the premium version for 2.19$, a bit steep if you ask us considering that it lacks many basic features.

It needs access to some areas of your phone that aren't connected to its features, like accounts on your device. |
Battery8
Consumption isn't high, you shouldn't worry about the app draining your resources. |
Price6
It comes with really annoying banner and popup ads which you can remove if you pay 2.19$, a bit expensive. |
Compatibility8
It should work on devices running Android version 2.3 or later, making it accessible to many users. |
It has a confusing UI, filled with all sort of annoying ads and it doesn't really give you detailed weather forecasts, aside from the fact that's missing some basic features.
