This utility is all about practicality and for this reason it offers a clean layout, well organized and with every feature easily accessible from the main screen.
The generously sized round tiles take up almost all the space inside the home screen and they are neatly arranged, waiting to be used to access the system settings or to be pinned.
An important mention you have to consider is that once added to the Start screen, these shortcuts are available only in two sizes, medium and small, lacking support for wide tiles.
Simple tile pinning procedure
iSettings offers you a very reduced set of system shortcuts, as the WiFi, Bluetooth, Cellular and Airplane Mode settings are available from the main screen.
A normal tap on any of these items will take you on the spot to the corresponding system area so you can make the needed adjustments for the respective functions.
Adding the shortcuts to the Start screen is pretty straightforward, as all you have to do is press for a couple of seconds on any of the tiles to have them sent immediately to their new place.
Duplication prevention, but no service status
The status of the system functions represented by any of the fresh tiles is not shown on the Start screen, so you cannot tell just by looking at the shortcuts whether the wireless connectivity is active or if the Bluetooth is turned on, like is the case with numerous similar apps.
This utility has a sort of a security system that prevents you from accidentally adding duplicate shortcuts. More precisely, in case you tap and hold to add a tile for a system function that is already pinned to the Start menu, iSettings will let you know that here is one already and will prevent the creation of the respective shortcut.
