Briefcase is one of the utilities that can provide a lot of handy features for anyone to use in handling the data stored onto the mobile device or in accounts associated with cloud storage services.

Smart layout, with a customizable look

A simple and clean interface, with all the features at hand are the main characteristics of this application's appearance. The GUI can be customized to a certain extent as it comes with support for several color themes, other than that of the actual device.

The navigation inside the app is generally fluent, as all the items stored in any folder will be loaded momentarily, so you can view the thumbnails corresponding to each of the recognized file types. However, at times it may take an extra second to load certain items, especially from the cloud and their thumbnails.

The utility hosts all the functions in a well organized manner, so that anyone can reach the desired tools with no efforts. Tapping files and folders reveals a couple of quick actions, while most of the commands reside in the lower side of the screen.

On rare occasions and after a few uses a prompt that tasks you to review and rate the app will appear in full screen at startup.

Manage local files on the go

The basic commands for handling any kind of files are present inside Briefcase and it brings some extra functions as well, so you will be able to do a bit more than rename, copy, cut, share or delete items.

The application allows you to pin items to the Start screen and create ZIP archives on the fly, by simply selecting the respective files and choosing the corresponding action from the main menu.

In case you want to keep a set of items close at hand and easier to access you can use the "Favorite" function and mark all the files as such to have them readily stored in the dedicated section of the app

There is another useful feature of this app, namely the ability to display advanced properties for selected files, which can prove very useful when dealing with digital pictures. Adding new places to the list in the main screen is easy and you can even include locations from the SD card.

Handle OneDrive content with ease

This utility is also able to handle your cloud storage folders, as it integrates seamlessly with OneDrive and enables you to access the remote containers on the fly, so you can manage the content a lot easier.

Synchronizing data between the local and online storage is possible as well, while file uploads and downloads are carried out smoothly, without issues. The built-in search feature makes it possible for you to look for specific items in the local or OneDrive locations you are currently browsing.

In case you want to prevent unauthorized users to access the utility, you can set up a 4 digit PIN code that will be requested every time Briefcase is opened.
