For those who are after an app that can offer a bit more than plain text notes, Anynote can be a pretty smart choice because this utility makes it possible for anyone to take photos and capture sound.
Nice looking and customizable GUI
This app offers a nice looking interface, with all the features at hand and customizable settings for you to tinker with, all available from the "Options" menu.
Thus, there are a couple of wallpapers at your disposal and you can add pictures of your own from those those stored in your photo albums. The accent color used inside the application can also be selected from several hues put at your disposal in the corresponding menu.
The notes are shown in an easy to read screen and moving through menus and notes is pretty simple and smooth, while the commands are always at hand, reachable from the menu shown in the lower part of the screen.
Anynote is not completely free of nuisances, as it has some flashing advertisement banners inside several sections and these adverts are constantly changing at the bottom of the screen.
Write down notes, take photos and record audio
Adding and editing notes could hardly be simpler because with one tap you open a new entry and you can type in right away. There is a default folder in which all the items are stored initially, but you can easily create new containers and move the notes as you please.
With one tap on the corresponding button you will be able to take a picture or start an audio recording and you have the possibility to add in your folders images that are already saved on your phone's local storage.
Manage and share notes on the go
All the entries you create inside this app can be pinned to the Start screen for easy access and the multimedia content can be uploaded to OneDrive, as the utility integrates seamlessly with the online service.
Another useful feature of Anynote is the ability to share any of the text notes via SMS, email or through the social networks you are subscribed to. Copying their content to the clipboard is also one tap away.
