AdminZilla Network Administrator is the utility you can install onto your Windows Phone handset to view the activity on remote PCs and take control when needed, provided that you download and install the agent component onto those computers.
Tidy looks and easy to use front-end
This utility comes with an intuitive GUI that offers some clean graphics and a smart layout for facilitating the quick access to all the functions from the several menus available in the various sections of the app.
The adaptive display can be used equally well in portrait and landscape modes, with the mention that in the latter orientation you will have the advantage of seeing the remote screen and the commands in a split-screen manner.
The refresh rate can be set at a minimum value so as to view almost in real-time, with a slight delay, smaller than a second, all the activity from the screens of the monitored workstations.
Scan or add manually PCs to manage remotely
AdminZilla Network Administrator is able to search for computers with the agent installed and turned on with one tap, but this procedure might yield no results in some cases, even if there PC's are running the agent while the scan is active.
The alternative is to manually input the remote host or IP address and the port, then specify the connection password needed for the pairing to be completed and in a few instants you will have access to those computers.
Complete control at your fingertips
Once you manage to establish the connection, you can send a wide variety of commands to the remote workstations, including power on/off, reboot, log off or lock instructions.
To view the PC screen up close you have a zoom command at your disposal, but the icing on the cake are the extended remote control features that enable you to use a virtual mouse and keyboard, start programs as administrator, open webpages and even kill processes or stop running aplications.
Nonetheless, it is important to note that the full package requires a purchase and you only have a 10 days trial period at your disposal to assess the premium features. Also, the app is not glitch-free, as besides the fact it might not detect computers even if all the conditions are met, sometimes AdminZilla Network Administrator crashes suddenly.
