Tried putting in the password I have created but it doesnt unlock. Tried using the original passowrd and still it doesnt. Did try to do the hard reset but still it doesnt work. the screen still says emergency calls can be made. Wehn someone rings I can answer but cannot make a return call. can hear the text messages coming in but cannot view as screen is blocked syaing emergency calls and asking for passowrd. Please help. |

Date: 13 Jun 2010, 19:02 GMT | i bought this phone 6 months ago and was expecting to be impressed by its likeness to the google g2. I realised that it would never be as good but seeing as my dad and sister had one i wanted something different. within a week i was dissapointed in the lack of apps, how quickly it became slow and the terrible ability to text. i eventually had the phone taken back for a software reload. it would not even let me answer my calls the majority of the time. after a week it was back to it's usual slow self but i stuck with it until i got so annoyed i took it back again. 2 months later they've done nothing to it and told me there is clear visable damage and they refuse to fix it. seeing as i kept the phone in a hard case and found myself spending a small fortune on screen protectors i see this as unlikely. I have no bought myself an iphone and i suggest that you do to if you feel tempted to by this terrible phone in anyway shape or form. |

Date: 24 May 2010, 23:04 GMT | The T-Mobile MDA Compact V or HTC Diamond 2 or Topaz is a horrible phone in daily use! It is lacking hardware keys thus rendering countless applications and games useless! It runs (too) hot easily by running several programs or just a game. TF3D is slowing down the device dramatically (-33%). The GUI is not so finger friendly, because for most applications/services one needs the stylus afterall. It does not support landscape view on most if not all standard applications! T-Mobile froze the Black and White Tf3D Today screen; one can not change the Today Screen in any way! T-Mobile forgot to include links to many useful applications which can be found in \Windows\ directory. T-Mobile removed (hard coded) the flipping clock ability! My advice; if you want this phone, get yourself a new ROM as soon as possible! I made my own using a kitchen obtained from xda-developers. Now I have artificial extended ROM plus extended (each button 3 functions) use of hardware keys and much much more! |
