just wanted to point out this phone does NOT have infrared as stated in the specs. ..i love my w760 now that i have debranded from AT&T

this phone is looking good. but its better if it has video calls & flasher to the camera.

I honestly don't know what all the fuss is about regarding unexplained resetting.

I've been using the w760i for about a month now and I've subjected it to extreme multi-tasking abuse, sometimes running 3 - 4 applications at the same time. I regularly run Google maps on a moving bus using the internal GPS and HSPDA connections while listening to my favorite internet radio station streamed live to my phone then out to my Bluetooth A2DP stereo headphones - that’s 4 separate real-time data streams as well as 2 loaded applications, all this and not as much as a murmur from my w760i.

In fact while writing this reply I've managed to load no fewer than 13 separate applications into memory before the w760i began to slow to a crawl and still no unexplained self reset nightmare, a far cry from the crash prone w950i and w910i both of which I've owned.

With regards to the camera I'm in agreement with everyone else, it needs a flash, auto-focus and a proper landscape orientated interface but the lack of a front facing video camera was never an issue for me simply because I never used it anyway. Video calling was a complete flop for everyone because both sender and receiver needed front facing cameras, 3G connectivity and fat wallets because the calls were so expensive.

In conclusion, I've got a great phone that gives me many hours of trouble free operation because I use the firmware update service at least once a month.
