Date: 13 Jan 2010, 21:24 GMT | had the steel for 5 months on vodafone, looks nice easy to use. one realy big problem keeps freezing while trying to send text, camra very tempramental only work when it want and not very good pictures, the biggest priblem ive got is it keeps switching its self off for no reason, sometimes while your in the middle of a conversation or just while its sat there, a total pain, looking to get rid, |

Date: 05 Aug 2009, 12:05 GMT | i have this phone for about 4 or 5 months and it is gr8 for what it is, it is very sleek looking and also due to the fact tht it has real steel casing it has a very premium feel. But first and foremost to me it means tht it is incredibly durable! im clumsy, always dropping and knocking my phone, and falling on it when is in my pocket (as im skateboader) and is does not have 1 bad scratch or crack anywhere! overall a gr8 phone
in answer to Sharon question: get off o2 thts why u cant go on the net cos o2 suck :) vodofone may not be yr fav provider but thy offer the best mobile services at present ;) |

Date: 07 Feb 2009, 06:34 GMT | I bought a Samsung Steel two weeks ago after having had numerous Nokias & Motorolas, mainly because I am a long time Vodafone customer (of mature years) and the fact that the Samsung has a large keypad, good for old fingers and appears to be beautifully made.
Disappointment;poor R.F. performance(speech has digital glitches unless you are in a very strong signal area) Camera works ok but is very slow to actually take a photo and save it, very difficult to hold the phone to take a portrait photo, slightly less difficult to take a landscape shot, you need to have three hands to operate the camera button. The worst GUI (operating layout)ever designed,Why use one or two button presses when 8 will do the same job as a Nokia or even a Motorola V3.
I love this phone but whoever designed it doesn't live in the real World.
Hoping the above is useful to you. Regards Peter U.K. |
