I have been meaning to write about this phone for ages - had it for years & it just goes on & on.
You said it all for me.

It comes with one of the most amazing games ever on a phone, Space Impact! The greatest thing is that it works. The buttons feel great, the screen looks good and it does what you need. You speak in one end and the person on the other can hear you. Gasp! Shock and Awe! You use the keypad to make a message and press send and, magically, the person you send it to will get it! Amazing! True, it has no camera. True, there is no internet, bluetooth, GPS or any of that crap. YOU DON'T NEED IT! I love the built in composer. The whole thing has been dropped countless times and even dropped in a pot of stew! It just kept working. It is heavy, but no one cares! It's simple, convenient, reliable, fun, and best of all, IT WORKS! 9 years after my mom got this, I still use it every day. NO ONE can say that about their iPhones, Palm Pilots, Razrs, Slivrs, or anything. |

Date: 14 Jun 2009, 02:25 GMT | This phone like every nokia I had just gave me headaches with so many defects!!! the display wouldn't turn on, the on off button wouldn't work, the ac charger would short circuit until it blew up. I liked the way it looked, very my age at the time, teen and it felt sturdy so everyone called it the war phone like it wouldn't break. it was the second heaviest cell phone I ever had(the nokia 5510 was heavier). cool games, and a couple of interessting features like the exchangeable covers and a ringtone creator that was loads of fun. still, I wouldn't have bought it if I knew the trouble it would cause. have two of them that don't work and fixing them is as expensive as buying a new phone so I'm disposing them. If they had the quality of siemens they'd still be working!! |
