i HATE this phone, i bought it for about $60 on a fixed term. It was working fine till 1 year in...sometimes it doesn't ring, many times people on the other end is sent to voicemail when the phone isn't even off!(it's not a reception issue) it cuts off in the middle of calls. I can't access some of the menus, most of the time it lags or is non-resposive, it will never do what you want. I was extremely careful with the phone ie (I DIDN'T EVEN BRING IT INTO THE BATHROOM WHEN I SHOWERED)

what's even worse, the waranty is over and i'm stuck with this phone for a looong time...i swear i will never ever get another phone like this ever again

I've had this phone only 5 months, almost everytime I was talking to someone, I could hear them but they could not hear me, last time I was able to use this phone I put it on the charger one night and the next morning I went to turn it on and this phone will no longer do anything at all !!! I have to drive over an hour away to get a new one if I want it fixed. This Phone is JUNK!!! Expensive Junk if you ask me....

Great phone however true to Motorola style there is a catch - A BIG ONE.

After about 8 months you will find that the center button is fixed to the phone using ordinary glue and the button falls off when subjected to the heat of the pocket.
Also, does the Bluetooth on/off funtion have to be located in a Sub-Sub-Sub-Sub menu? Surely there must be anther way.

Z6 - great menus
Fido has this phone locked down hard with 3 buttons dedicated to launching internet. The right smart key, the key that should be the music player, and the right soft key. If you don't have a data plan this phone is frustrating.

The bluetooth is NOT automatic and has a tendency to drop my seinheuser stereo bluetooth headset (180.00 retail) in the middle of calls. This was not a problem with V9 I had before. The work around seems to be turning the bluetooth on and off manually to ensure that it connects properly. Why is this the case when the v9 works so well?

The Voice Recognition is NOT as good as that on the V9. Period. It does work, and requires some re entry for phonetic reasons.

The WiFi option is only for UNO through fido so it's not really a bonus for me as I have plenty of minutes available on my plan.

The battery life is great. The .mp3 player is better than the v9 and way faster to browse *once it loads*. The sound if superb - and the media browser works very well.

It is clear that FIDO has done a poor job with the software for the phone as it often lags.

Great as a phone - if the blutooth problem doesn't sort it self out I may end up returning it.

The phone feels good - the slider is great - the finish is thumb print happy - but it feels like a good piece of equipment.

I have a 2gig card right now from my v9 and I am waiting for the 4gig to come in the mail.

Last complaint - no memory provided or headset... what is up with that?
