Hi. Sorry Sorin but you're wrong on all technical criticism of the Renoir. Your observations on various mode functionalities are niaivet. Control functionality is down to personal taste. If you don't like the phone there's no point in wishing reality would suddenly change to suit you. It's how it is. Buy a diferent phone that meets your criteria instead of ranting your wish list.
I've owned a KU990 Viewty since 2007. It still has more and better features than any Iphone. Apart from WiFi it outperforms the Iphone on all counts and has other features Iphone doesn't(like changing a battery on the fly). In 2009 I was upgraded to the Renoir. This gave WiFi. At this point there was no better phone on the market. Both phones are still used daily and both have 32Gb microSDHC cards fitted. Something Apple have just caught up with. They make video or normal calls; take the best pictures both macro and full size you'll find on the market(even now). The best quality music sound from a phone and Ive heard loads. I listen via bluetooth through speakers, the car radio and my headphones(Sony DRBT50's), another brilliant product, The FM radio, comprehensive photo editing facilities and story book maker and lets not forget the file viewers, organiser functionality, and voice recorder web browser either. This is a phone that more than does what I use it for which is everything. Nothings gone wrong with them even though they've had their fair share of knocks. They are brilliant pieces of technology that replaced all the separates I once carried. I've chums with the latest Iphones who don't believe my Viewty is 2007 before Iphones were anywhere other than someones dream in this country. People who own these don't change phones much. Quality not gimmicks that don't deliver results are not the LG way. I'm a daily user and know this is an outstanding piece of phone. Read reviews. They often compare new phones to the Vewty saying things like, the pictures aren't as good as the Viewty/Renoir or latest Sony phone. Eat your heart out .I've phones that work really well with everything I need. I have no odd esotoric desires. I like them just the way they are. You've just got a toy. ;)
