Date: 02 Aug 2009, 06:57 GMT | Just got the Incite this last week.. paid .99 cents from walmart att renewel. With that being said, let start looking at the phone.
PROS:
Appearence is awsome, but there is a bit of glare from the screen and body in light. Though the screen is easy enough to see. feels good in hand and easy to operate the touch screen..
The main icons are easy to see and use, and take you to where you want. so over all function of phone is excellent.
The WM6 platform does everything a desktop does as far as buisness, and alot of freeware programs out there for you.
The storage is awaome, i have a 32gb sd card in w/o any problems..
media player is less then average, but there again, upgrade to pocket pc media player, cost $10..
Speaker and phone reception is very good.. and GPS actually works in the car!
All other features of this phone is great, I studied and looked at several before buying this one, and money was not a concern.
3.5mm head jack.. so standard head phones or any 3.5 audio plug can be used in it, and also has a FM radio biult in!
CONS:
the battery life is about 1.5 days if you use the web on it.. Shows all kinds of smudges, so a skin cover is was quickly purchased..
In summary, I had a HTC tilt, and my wife has an Eternity.. son has an I phone G3, and between those, I can say the LG is the best phone for a someone who wants all the gadgets, and a good phone to talk with.. not to mention you don't need the data plan to get the phone.. so unlike the Iphone that has an absorbant cost over the long hual due to apps, and proprietary cost.. the Incite smokes it.. Buy one, put your SIM card in, and there you go.. Synch w/ any computer w/ active synch.. Download and upload files.. and mass storage for them as well. |

Date: 27 Apr 2009, 22:00 GMT | ok so i upgraded to the lg incite from a sony errisson w580i is what i think it was it was the slider one. honestly if u have fat fingers texting is pretty easy the letters are large enough. There really isnt any funny apps such as the lightsaber so if thats what your looking for then this isnt the phone for u. but it does have a lighter app that can go on it as well as many others that are helpful apps but over all i think this phone is one of the best phones that ive seen. |
