Date: 22 Oct 2009, 02:58 GMT | I'm in Perth, Australia. Connected via Telstra. One of the best phones I have had over the 15 years + that I have had mobile phones. (Granted: Turned off the TouchFlo 3D. I don't use it at all.) Only one significant issue with the phone that had been subsequently rectified via software upgrade. Marries very well with OutLook. Operates respectively when linked in an ADSL Wireless Router - only downside: It chews through the battery (but that is expected). Found the phone a little small in the hand, but then again I have large hands. I would be ecstatic if they could put the Touch Diamond into the Touch HD chassis without any specification change. |

Memory management is not very good often meaning that a reboot is needed every 3 to 4 days. The camera lags seconds between pressing the button and it taking the picture so you often miss the shot. Reception issues (as mentioned by others) make this phone prone to drop-outs. Next time I will get a basic phone and a separate "PIM". I still have 9 months of contract to run too :( |

Date: 18 Jul 2009, 03:36 GMT | I was dissapointed with the phone because it constantly had problems with speaker, i would call someone but i would not be able to hear them, i had to restart the phone at least 10 times in first few day. The design of the phone i amazing and the graphics/camera are great but it does not even come close to iphone in its touch capabilities and interface. And also i had problems with the diamond shaped back because it would constantly fall off when i took it out of my pocket.. |

Date: 08 Jul 2009, 11:11 GMT | I have had nothing but trouble with this phone.
I am on the Orange network in the UK and according to Orange the tranceiver isn't the best, I can only get 1 bar of signal in my house and only 2/3 bars in London. Turning off the 3G hasn't helped.
It takes a while to catch up with the functions i want it to do, the so called Touchflow is shockingly slow and menus are about 10 seconds behind my movements.
I have had a replacement battery recently because the supplied one discharged after 15hrs on standby. The replacement puts about 4mm on the width of the phone but lasts a lot longer.
To summerise: don't buy this phone... |

Date: 02 Jun 2009, 15:51 GMT | I was extremely disappointed. I was using Iphone before and decided to try HTC out. After about a month it started lagging and if you lose a stick it is extremely uncomfortable. Internet i probably the only good feature but again you get tired of constant lagging and program unexpected quitting. By the way for all of you who will want do disagree i did not drop it or unblock it , in other words havent done anything that would make it worse. If you are planning to buy one , i would strongly suggest you no to , instead try something like Blackberry or Nokia new touch screen release
