For example, it's not possible to end a call simply by pressing the hangup button once - you have to press it twice (or more!), very frustrating. I've also had calls where the phone didn't even ring - it just goes straight to voicemail . I'm not the only one in our organisation that's made these comments. There are more bad points, but suffice to say that I can't wait to be rid of it - unfortunately that's some time away as we've only had them for a few months.
We have been forced to have these as a company phone - I've not heard a good review yet. The only good point is that it does connect to the company email which is excellent when on the move. |

When you spend some time to learn then you will never let it go. |

Date: 26 Jan 2009, 13:49 GMT | I'm not sure if it is the s740, all HTC smartphones or all windows mobiles that are this bad. I used to have SonyEricsson mobiles (have had around 8) and was happy with that, but now I wanted to try a windows mobile. I got a s740, and now after having it for one month, I am ready to return it! The user interface is so bad, slow-reacting and counters all GUI-logic. All nice and intuitive features are stripped off, and it is not even possible to setup the phone as one wants. The windows mobile GUI is not very easy to more around in, and even if you can connect your phone to your computer, it is not possible to configure it from there.
I HATE IT, and I'll return it ASAP |
