However, it is my observation that despite this, I find the UI fantastic but sluggish, the camera terrible, the video worse, the flash unusably slow and the trackball prone to accidental scrolling. So, a great attempt, but don't be entirely taken in by the hype. |

1) The UI is really something different and something more user related rather than the usual Windows Mobile UI 6.1. I mean seriously, just a flick of the finger on the screen and voila, you got whatche need.
2) Another not e to be made which is so obvious is the design, I mean I prefer the chocolate like color in the image above in this page rather than the white one.
3) If I would compare this phone to the HTC touch pro 2, I would say this phone is more of a phone for the 3rd gen youth. No offense meant to the HTC TP2, its just that tp2 was meant for the business related professionals rather than the youth.
4) To prove point number 3 again, the 3.5 mmaudio jack is the best thing that HTC have done since it is more of a need than a want to the youth. Why only to the youth?? I mean everybody who listen music out there.
5) FACEBOOK, Youtube, Twitter, thaaz all totally welcome by the users of the HTC HERO.
6) Hardware buttons: Well hey, thats totally helpful in the navigation part. Pressing some buttons aint harmful at all. Always happy to be pressin, lol.
7) Forgot to mention, 5.0 MP Cam not bad at all. Can change settings brightness and all that. Very nice. Capturing the photo my pressing the track ball is not a problem either.
Well, I got a little carried away with all the review and all but I really believe that HTC Hero is an Android phone that the consumers will most certainly not be disappointed. Of course there are little things missing in every phone, nothings perfect. Would you believe it?? |
