I had this device for about 7 months now. i won it @ auction from ebay for a great price. i love it and everything that it does really helps me keep on track for my day to day schedule. not to mention the GPS really helps me when i am on the road. i am currently in college and this serves as a replacement for my laptop when i am away from it. With the wealth of services provided by microsoft and the tons of programs made for windows mobile just adds the value of my pocket pc. i really love the touchscreen technology (not because if the iPhone) and never could afford a device that was a sophisticated until this charm came along. In spite of windows mobile being 5.0 instead of the current 6.1, i really love how 5.0 kind of became a standard of sorts because of the latest programs being able to run on 5.0 and above (thanks developers!). With my device being so versatile, it serves as my mp3 player, small game device, GPS (as stated above), my school companion, and my phone all rolled up into one device. I never owned a pocket pc or smartphone, and i have to say i am quite impressed with the technology, even though it is 2 yrs old and the drawbacks of my specific device (no Wi-Fi/EDGE/3G, mic is broken so bluetooth is used for phone calls, but i won it for $60 so it was a steal!). Overall, i can't say good enough things about it. i may sound like a fool and there are better devices out there, but for a beginner device for me, i am always in awe of what i can do. Live mesh is a savior so i never have to sync my phone ever again with wires ever again with Microsoft Live Mesh (but i could use the bluetooth aspect even for the windows sideshow i can use). I give it a 9/10 if i could rate it on my own scale.
