i bought 3 BENQ SIEMENS EF 81 last year and i found it not bad for the price of 80 euros each but i have a problem with one of my cellphone. i accidentally put it in offline mode .how can bring it back in an online mode

A nice phone, one of the slimmer 3G phones, but unfortunately with the worst SMS implementation I have seen. It is not possible to manage SMSes from a computer (store, upload, archive). Just to make the missing feature set complete there are no way to store received SMSes or sent SMSes in the SIM card. It is possible to configure the SMS account to place all received SMSes in the SIM card (that quickly runs full), but there is no way to store the sent ones.

I have had the phone for 3 months and this problem is so serious for me that I am actually now going to evaluate a certain resembling Motorola to see if it has a decent SMS implementation.

There is also one more thing of importance to professional users: the phone organiser has no task list! Only dated events in the calendar can be stored and synchronised. The phone does not even have a "notepad" (although an SMS may do the job) to quickly write down things to remember and phone calls to do.
