Flipagram 4.1
That’s because Flipboard can help you create some pretty cool videos by putting together the images in your camera roll, albums, but also from Facebook and Instagram.
Get creative
The app has a pretty simple interface, with all the buttons laid out in the ribbon from the bottom of the screen. You can check out content from your friends, if you’ve connected with any social networks, or explore for random content, users and hashtags via the next tab.
The videos you’ll find there were posted by other users and you can get a glimpse at how your own will look like. The user’s name appears at the top, along with the date the video was published. Then comes the video, a short description, the number of likes and comments. If you want, you can “like” them yourself, comment and share the content.
The process of creating a new videos is quite easy and should raise you no troubles. As mentioned, you can add pictures from Instagram and Facebook, as well as from the albums on the device. Once you’ve picked all the images you want to add to the videos, you can rearrange them to fit your needs. There are some automatic sorting options, such as arranging them by date, or displaying them in the order they were selected. Another option is to shuffle them. Of course, doing things manually is also an option and you’ll only have to long-press on the picture you want to move and drag it to the place you want it in.
Tapping on the edit button for the pictures allows you to readjust the picture’s position for a better crop. You can rotate the image if needed, duplicate it, or add text.
Get musical
The last steps involve adding music to the video. This can be done either by looking through your own device, finding music provided by the app or recording a voice narration. When looking for music from the app, you’ll find that you can’t actually use more than the 30 second preview for free without paying. The alternative is paying for the track on iTunes. The app then lets you slide the waveform to change the start time to fit your needs.
It’s also possible to control the speed of the video and to add filters to the entire thing to make everything look better. Adding text is another possibility. Before saving the video and posting it to Flipagram, you can add a caption, mention a friend and add hashtags. The content can then be shared over social networks such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and so on.
