Although Microsoft announced that a new Windows 10 Mobile Preview build would be pushed to Fast ring last week, the Redmond-based company had to delay the launch for several days due a last minute issue discovered by its engineers.

Microsoft's Gabriel Aul announced over the weekend that the expected build wouldn't be available until early this week.

Today, he has confirmed that Windows 10 Mobile build 10536.1004 has already been deployed to internal ring and that data is looking good so far.

Also, Aul has stated that if the new build continues to look good, tomorrow morning (Redmond time) it will be pushed to Fast ring.

Among the many new features and improvements the upcoming build promises to bring, it's worth mentioning mobile hotspot functionality (not working now), fixes for Quiet Hours (Do Not Disturb), and pinch and zoom in the Maps.

Some other fixes for issues reported by users will be implemented as well. Microsoft still has quite a lot of new features to implement in Windows 10 Mobile and the new version of the OS is close to being officially released.

Microsoft has already announced a launch event for October 6, where the company is expected to unveil the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL flagship smartphones, but we expect it to share some info on Windows 10 Mobile upgrades as well.
