The microSD card slot on the phone might be hard to find

Given the amount of leaks revolving around the Verizon-bound DROID Maxx 2 (a rebranded version of the Motorola Moto X Play), we can be pretty sure that the phone will make it out into the wild soon enough.

According to the most recent leaks, the handset will feature 32GB of internal storage, which is expandable via microSD card slot up to 128GB. But you might have a hard time finding the location of the microSD card slot. The same goes for the Moto X Play.

So if you own the phone or are planning to get the DROID Maxx 2, listen up. You will find the microSD card slot on the back of the SIM card tray. Like in the case of the DROID Maxx, it resides in the volume rocker.

Hence, we can assume that the SIM card tray on the DROID Maxx 2 will also be located on the top of the device. However, don’t forget you need to use the SIM tray tool to gain access to it.

The Moto X Play is a mid-range phone arriving on the market with a 5.5-inch 1080 display (1920 x 1080 pixel resolution), a Snapdragon 615 processor, 2GB of RAM, and an advanced 21MP camera.

The DROID Maxx 2 should bundle the same specs, but just like its predecessor, it should boast a battery of higher capacity.
