The folks behind instant messenger application Viber released a small but important update a little while ago. The update made it easier for Viber users on Windows Phone platform to view all photos in a chat by simply swiping left or right.

In addition, the update also implemented a new option that would allow Viber users to change language in settings.

However, it appears that the update broke some things in the application or developers have left out some things for a future update, because a new version of Viber is now available for download in Windows Phone Store.

According to the official changelog, the update includes some bug fixes, although no additional details are shared on any of them.

If you don't have the application yet, you can now download Viber for Windows Phone 4.5.1 for free via Windows Phone Store.

The application should be fully compatible with all device powered by Windows Phone 8 and up. It's also worth mentioning that the application is free and with no advertising, so go ahead and try it out.

Keep in mind on Viber, your phone number is your ID. The app syncs with the mobile contact list, automatically detecting which of contacts have Viber.
