Last month, Twitter updated its Android application with a night mode and it seems that it's time for the iOS app to receive the same treatment. Twitter has just announced that its iOS application has just been updated with night mode.

Twitter recently announced that it updated its iOS application with night mode, which can be enabled by tapping on the Me tab and then on the Gear icon. Then, users simply need to turn the night mode on.

The night mode on iOS works in the same way as on the Android app, in the sense that it would change the background into black with white letters. When the feature is disabled, the background returns to its white color.

Night mode comes in handy when reading content on the phone at night or in a number of situations with low-light conditions. It would have been nice if the night mode could be enabled automatically based on the time of day, but maybe Twitter will implement such a setting soon.

Twitter is reportedly working on another feature that it wishes to roll out soon. Quality filter would prevent users from seeing duplicate tweets or automated content that may contain unpleasant content.

Not long ago Twitter also introduced stickers for images and the ability to search through them using hashtags. Users would be able to add stickers to an image, resize and rotate sticker elements or place them anywhere in the picture.
