Yesterday Google announced the Nexus 6P with bells and whistles as its latest flagship device. The phone is pretty sweet, coming with an anodized aluminum construction, spacious 5.7-inch display with QHD resolution, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.

During the presentation, Google said the phone would arrive in three options, namely aluminum (silver), graphite (black) and frost (white) colors, but the thing is, there’s another color that leaked previously in an image showcasing the back of the then-unannounced Nexus 6P.

It turns out there’s a gold-colored version as well dubbed Nexus 6P Special Edition, but the twist is you can only get it in Japan. For the time being, we have no information related to whether this color will be made available in other markets and if so when.

However, third-party online retailers like eBay or AliExpress will probably soon pick it up and offer it to international customers. Apart from the different paint job, the Nexus 6P Special Edition remains the same, meaning you’ll get a 5.7-inch phone with QHD resolution (1440 x 2560 pixels) and 518 ppi.

The device is powered by a Snapdragon 810 v2.1 processor accompanied by 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Google is also offering a USB Type-C port plus a fingerprint scanner for authentication purposes.
