Sony will start shipping the devices in November

After launching not one but three new phones at IFA 2015, Sony has now proceeded to make the devices available in select markets. So the Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact and Xperia Z5 Premium have already popped up on Sony’s UK official page and are available for pre-order.

Even so, don’t expect Sony to start shipping the phones right away. The first units will start being delivered to consumers in November, just because the holiday craze begins.

Now, if you’re wondering about pricing, the handsets will definitely cost you a pretty buck. The Xperia Z5 will be sold for £599 / $913, while the Xperia Z5 Compact is a tad less expensive selling for £549 / $837. Last but not least comes the world’s first 4K smartphone, the Xpeira Z5 Premium, which can be yours if you’re willing to pay £699 / $1,065.

The three new smartphones are quite similar, stripped down to their essence. All three rely on the Snapdragon 810 processor, with both the Z5 and Z5 Premium featuring 3GB of RAM, while the Compact only gets 2GB of RAM on board. The models also share a main 23MP camera and a fingerprint sensor which is built into the phone’s power button.

There’s a striking difference in the resolution department, though, as the Xperia Z5 gets full HD res, while the Compact features only 720p. Obviously, the Xperia Z5 Premium features that gorgeous 4K display everyone will be drooling over.
