IFA 2015 is expected to kick start during the beginning of September in Berlin, and today, Sony’s Italian Twitter page has confirmed that the company will be hosting a press event on September 2 in order to announce “many new features.”

Since Sony unveiled the Sony Xperia Z3 lineup at IFA 2014, we have to guess it’s Xperia Z5’s time to shine this year. We recently told you that the Sony Xperia Z5 would be “Made for Bond,” although the blurred “Z” letter might indicate Sony will end up unveiling something else when the time comes.

The Xperia Z5 is expected to arrive with a 5.5-inch FHD display (1920 x 1080 pixel resolution), a 64-bit Snapdragon 810 processor paired with an Adreno 430 graphics processing unit, and 3GB of RAM.

On the back, there should be a 20.7MP photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and 4K video recording, while in the front will live an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls.

The image teased by Sony to announce the September event also includes a smartwatch, headphones, and a new Alpha camera.

In related news, Sony unveiled today the Xperia M5 and Xperia C5 mid-range smartphones, which put a focus on the selfie-photography experience.
