If you have been interested in what is going on in the tech industry, you might remember the line of Windows tablets Samsung used to produce back in the day. They were called ATIV and achieved moderate popularity, given the wide-range of Windows slates the competition offered as well.

Still, it appears Samsung is looking to persist with the endeavor, as the latest rumor coming out of Asia (via Weibo) indicates that the tech giant is working on a new, interesting tablet.

Apparently, Samsung is looking to jump back in the saddle with a new Windows tablet which will arrive with a specious 12-inch display. Sammy hasn’t produced slates with such a large form factor ever since the Galaxy TabPRO and NotePRO came along flaunting their 12.2-inch screens.

So the new tablet will supposedly arrive with a whopping resolution of either 2560 x 1600 or 3840 x 2400 pixels. While smartphones with a QHD display have become pretty common, a device with such a resolution would be pretty unique. The device will draw power from an 14nm Intel Core M chipset working hand in hand with a hefty 4GB of RAM.

More than that, the tablet could be pretty sleek, coming with a 6.2 mm frame and breaking the scales at 600 g. Furthermore, it is speculated the device could arrive with an S Pen and might borrow some features from the newly unveiled Galaxy Note 5.

Last but not least, the device should make it out on the market running Windows 10 out of the box. Would you be interested in such a tablet?
