Developer Rhapsody has just announced that both its Android and iOS music players have been updated with design improvements and new features.

“Today, we are launching our new, redesigned Android App that’s even more tailored for you! Check out the Rhapsody and Napster updates for a brand new mini-player and full screen player experience,” says developer in a blog post.

So, first of all, Rhapsody now features a new look with simplified displays and other visual improvement meant to ensure that listeners experience the most personalized and responsive platform available on the market.

The update also brings a new mini player with updated design, which allows users to swipe to change tracks. Users can also favorite tracks directly within this mini player.

There's also a new full screen player with new design and simplified experience, as mentioned earlier. Basically, the update adds a new overall look to Rhapsody music player, but also several bug fixes.

You can now download Rhapsody Music Player for Android for free via Google Play Store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 4.0 and up.

According to developers, these updates along with upgraded album art visibility, will be available for iOS too, pending Apple App Store approval.
