Prisma was released not long ago, but the photography application has managed to capture the market’s attention in quite a short time and has become one of the top photo apps on both Android and iOS. The app was launched on iOS in June and arrived on Android last month.

Prisma managed to rank among the top applications in the App Store in multiple countries, and its popularity on Android practically exploded just a few days after the release. More specifically, the app ranked among the top 10 applications in App Store and reached more than 10 million installs on Android in less than a month since its release.

The application has now received an update with picture cropping and filter blending features, which help users crop and work with their photos more easily. The new feature allows users to crop and rotate photos, before using Prisma filters to enhance images.

The filter blending feature enables users to control the blend between the original photo and its filtered version. The application has been also made to work faster so that users won't need to wait for long until they can snap images and transform them using over 30 filters found in Prisma.

In addition, the application is also expected to incorporate effects for video editing, but company representatives have said that it might take a few weeks for Prisma Labs to prepare the necessary technology.

Prisma app is available on Android and iOS.
