Windows 10 Mobile should launch this autumn

It was a normal day in Greece when a local Nokia Lumia 930 user received an unexpected surprise - he was treated to a Windows 10 Mobile Preview OTA update for his handset.

But his enthusiasm quickly got toned down after it became apparent that the new build came along with a host of bugs. To be fair, something like this was to be expected considering the beta status of the upcoming version.

One of the biggest problems mentioned by Tech Value is that, after performing the update, the Lumia 930 has a tendency to overheat, reaching alarming levels.

The updated Lumia 930 can handle running video, but when faced with other tasks, it immediately runs hot. Even with the launcher running, the phone got incredibly hot to a point that it wasn’t comfortable holding it in hand.

Hopefully, until Windows 10 Mobile arrives in its final version, Microsoft will be able to solve such overheating issues, as the launch is still a few months away.
