A new application for free texting, voice and video chatting, and file sharing

Owners of Windows Phone devices out there can now enjoy a new instant messaging application on their handsets, one that is already highly popular on Android, namely myChat.

The SMS replacement software has been made available for all Windows Phone 7.5, Windows Phone 8 and Windows Phone 8.1 smartphones out there, featuring build number 1.0.0.36 at the moment.

What this application will provide users with in terms of features includes free chatting with friends around the world, with both voice and video calls available for free for all of them.

Moreover, the software enables users to easily share photos and videos with their contacts, while also providing them with group chatting capabilities, support for smileys, and with push notifications.

The instant messaging application / service is rather new to the mobile world, but it is growing fast, especially since it is now available on all three top mobile operating systems out there, including Android, iOS and Windows Phone.
