A few days ago, Meizu released its latest Pro 5 flagship device, which, just like the Galaxy S6, comes equipped with an Exynos 7420 processor under the hood. While the producing company launched the phone in its own court, it has come to our attention that the handset will be made available in India too.

The smartphone will be available in China in October, but the Flyme OS 5.0 update will arrive on November 15. As for the Indian market, GSM Arena reports that the Pro 5 will make it out in the country early next year with Flyme OS 5.0 out of the box (which is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop).

For those out of the loop, the device arrives with a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with 1080p resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) and 2.5D curved glass. In the photography department, the Pro 5 relies on a 21MP camera with Sony IMX230 sensor, which measures 1/2.4 inches in size. Selfie shooting is achieved via the 5MP frontal snapper.

Meizu will throw in either 3GB or 4GB of RAM, plus 32GB or 64GB of internal storage, respectively. Anyhow, in case you need more of that, you can expand what’s being offered from the get-go via the microSD card slot, unlike in the case of the Galaxy S6, which doesn’t offer this feature. The device also takes advantage of a USB Type-C port.
