Google is constantly working on updates to its Google Maps application, seeing how it’s one of the most popular mapping services out there. In March of this year, the company added a new way for people to find and compare the fastest route to get around town.

Google added a ride services tab when searching for directions in Google Maps, which allowed users to find rides offered by various services. It seems that the Mountain View-based giant has recently updated the tab and added two more services from the US, Lyft and Gett.

This means that Google Maps will now display ride services from 9 partners in over 60 countries. Users will be able to compare the fastest and most affordable rides, and they won’t be required to download or open multiple apps in order to so.

In order to access ride services, users simply need to add their current location and destination into Google Maps app and tap on the ride services tab. They can find fare estimates and pick-up times, depending on the driver’s availability. Lyft will also show options for a Lyft Line ride, which means that the new feature comes integrated with all services found inside ride apps.

Ride options from Lyft will be available across the US, but Gett is only limited within New York City. The update has already started rolling out to Google Maps on Android devices. Another feature that Google has recently introduced in its Maps app is the option to catch Pokemon.
