Lenovo introduced its mid-range K3 Note Android smartphone in India back in June, but announced the device will only be available through flash sales via its online store.

Given the low price and more than decent specs, more than 470,000 customers registered their interest for purchasing the Lenovo K3 Note on July 8 when the first flash sale is set to commence, a new report confirms.

By the time the flash sale kicks off we expect more than half a million people will want to grab the Lenovo K3 Note, which costs only Rs 9,999 outright ($155 / €145).

For that amount, customers will get a smartphone that sports a 5.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution, as well as an impressive 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back with autofocus, LED flash and video recording.

The K3 Note is powered by an octa-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.7GHz, which is complemented by a Mali-T760 MP2 graphics processing unit and 2GB of RAM.

In addition, the smartphone comes with 16GB of internal memory, microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 64GB) and 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

Lenovo K3 Note ships with Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system right out of the box and is powered by a high-capacity 3,000 mAh battery.
