iriver is mostly known for its high-quality MP3 players, but the company entered the smartphone market as well with some low-end handsets.

The latest addition to its lineup of Android smartphones is ULALA 1-K1, WSJ reports. The handset is priced at only $95/€70 and is now available for purchase in South Korea.

However, the phone might be released in other countries as well, depending on the market’s response to iriver’s product.

Specs-wise, ULALA 1-K1 comes with single-core processor clocked under 1GHz, as well as a decent 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 320 x 480 pixels resolution.

On the back, the smartphone packs a 3-megapixel photo snapper, while on the front there’s a secondary VGA camera for video calls.

iriver ULALA 1-K1 is powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system out of the box and offers dual-SIM capability.
