As we advance more and more towards the June 30 date, when Huawei is expected to launch the Honor 7 smartphone, we are getting more and more information related to the upcoming device.

The latest tidbit is coming out of notorious Asian website My Drivers and claims that the smartphone will come with support for quick charging.

Only yesterday we told you the exact same thing about the Meizu MX5, which is poised to come bundled with something called mCharge technology, a system which should allow your phone to charge up to 25% in only 10 minutes and up to 60% in 40 minutes.

Incidentally, the two phones will launch on the same date, meaning June 30.

Huawei’s upcoming Honor 7 is expected to use sapphire glass protection for the camera lenses and will arrive with a customizable physical button too.

We’re also being told that a full metal body and fingerprint sensor will be part of the release. Huawei will most likely unveil the device with a 5-inch 1080p display plus a Kirin 935 chipset under the hood, fitted with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM. The higher-end version will get 64GB of internal storage, while the lower-end one will just bundle 16GB.
