Huawei has yet to deliver Android 6.0 Marshmallow for any of its smartphones, but the Chinese company is actively testing the update for several devices, including the Honor 7.

Android fans located in the UK, who own a Huawei Honor 7, will now be able to apply for a chance to test Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for this particular smartphone.

The handset maker has already published a form that Huawei Honor 7 owners must fill to be able to test the beta build if they are chosen by the Chinese company.

Huawei promised that lots of devices in the Honor family would receive the highly anticipated Android 6.0 Marshmallow update as early as February 2016.

Although we're still two months away from release, at least those who own a Huawei Honor 7 can test Android 6.0 Marshmallow update on their devices.

Up until now, this is the only Huawei smartphone that's receiving a beta version of Android 6.0 Marshmallow, but we don't rule out the possibility of additional models being added to the beta program.

In other news, Huawei's first smartphone to come preloaded with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, Mate 8, has been confirmed to go on sale on December 9, but only in China.

However, with CES 2016 just around the corner, we expect more smartphones with Marshmallow to be announced by Huawei.
