It hasn’t been long since Huawei unveiled the Honor 7 smartphone, but it appears the Chinese device maker is gearing up to launch another Honor smartphone in the near future.

GSM Insider has received a teaser from the company for a new model called the Honor 4A which is bound to be unveiled on July 21 during the Huawei Summer Whirlwind Festival.

The event takes place at the Beijing Galaxy Soho in China and local artists Song Dong Ye and Peng Dan have been invited to attend the event as well.

Given the teaser image above, it could be speculated that the phone has been designed to provide an advanced music experience.

Nothing has been revealed about the specifications of the device, but we can guess the Huawei Honor 4A will sit between the Honor 4X and Honor 4C.

The Honor 4C, for example, is a pretty worthy mid-range device coming with a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p resolution) and is powered by a 2,250 mAh battery. The handset is powered by a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset or a HiSilicon Kirin 620 octa-core CPU.

Both versions pack 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory which can be expanded further up to 32GB via microSD card slot.

The phone has dual-SIM support and a 13MP/5MP camera combo.

Stay tuned as we find out more about the Honor 4A.
