HTC is expected to launch another high-end smartphone by the end of this year. However, little is known about the phone's market name and specs sheet.

If you are one of the many HTC fans who can't wait to hear about the company's new smartphone, here is something that would make your day.

The Taiwanese company has just confirmed a phone announcement for September 6. Although HTC has yet to unveil the name of the device, rumor has it that the One A9 “Aero” might be announced later this week.

We don't have any other info on the smartphone's specs, but previous rumors claimed the HTC One A9 “Aero” should be equipped with a deca-core Helio X20 processor manufactured by MediaTek, coupled with 4GB of RAM.

In addition, the One A9 is said to pack a powerful camera that should feature RAW support. It's still unclear whether or not the smartphone will sport a full HD (1080p) or a Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) display.

Even if the HTC One A9 “Aero” will be announced in early September, the smartphone might not be available for purchase until next month.

Last but not least, the latest hearsay claims HTC's high-end smartphone will be available in the United States at AT&T where it will sell for around $500 - $600 outright.
