Google has just pushed out a new update to the iOS versions of some of its most popular applications, Google Docs, Sheets, and Slide. The update allows users to multitask more easily on their iPads and brings the Docs and Slides apps to versions 1.2016.30204.

The new feature provides the tools for using any of Google's productivity applications side by side with another application so that users can chat and edit a document at the same time. This can prove quite useful when working on a document for work and getting indications from co-workers.

The update also comes with some general bug fixes and improvements to the Slides and Sheets apps, as well as with the option to insert images and use page breaks for the Docs app. The new features would work on the iPad Air 2, mini 4 and even Pro.

In addition, Android versions of the three applications have also been updated. Google has updated Docs, Slides and Sheets for Android with some new features regarding tables and charts, according to Android Police. Now, users will be able to copy cells from the sheets app and paste them into either Docs or Slides so that a fully formatted table would be produced. The feature won't work with tables that have more than 400 cells.

The updates are set to roll out in the following days, and they might take some time before they reach all end users.
