Google pays a lot of attention to its applications and makes sure it provides its users with new and stable features that help them complete tasks faster. Just last month, Google Calendar introduced a feature that lets users check when they are free, and now it seems that it has just received some more interesting goodies, such as the addition of conference room scheduling and the return of snoozing reminders.

Google Calendar version 5.5.9 has already started rolling out, and there are few apparent changes to the interface this time around, according to Android Police. The teardown has revealed that a new feature for conference scheduling has been added, together with a new API for developers.

The new version will allow users to schedule meeting rooms in a way that allows them to organize their agenda more efficiently. A few months ago, Google introduced a feature that looked into the schedule of each invitee and picked open time slots so that users could attend the meeting. The new conference room scheduling tool will work in conjunction with that previously released feature.

Moreover, the new version announces the return of snoozing reminders, which were removed from the app when it got updated to version 5.0. The feature allows users to put tasks to sleep until later and also lets them pick the time when the reminder should return on the screen. They can choose from multiple options, such as 10 minutes, later today, tomorrow, later this week, this weekend or next week.

Google might also introduce a new API for developers, as some strings were spotted during the APK teardown. This would mean that third-party apps could get a way to provide some limited options without actually reading user data.
