Lots of features have been improved to offer a smoother user experience

It’s been quite a busy month for fringland, the team behind the popular communication application.

Developers have delivered a few updates for their Symbian and iOS apps and promise that a new version will be available for Windows Phone 8 devices.

Android users will be happy to know that their version of fring has been updated with performance enhancements and bug fixes.

Although the latter have yet to be detailed, developers have confirmed that lots of issues with SIP, user interface and Bluetooth have been corrected.

Aside from these changes, it is also worth mentioning that the latest version of fring now offers improved video support.

fring 4.2.0.16 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.2 and up. Check it out here.
