Messaging applications are some of the most popular out there, and it seems that many companies are aiming to tap into this very lucrative market. One such name is Disney, which has just recently released Disney Mix.

The application is aimed at providing Disney fans with a safe alternative to major messaging applications like WhatsApp, Facebook, Snapchat, and others. The app makes sure that it provides a safe place where teens can chat, without having to worry about bullying and other things. It's worth mentioning that the new application also comes with plenty of useful features, like the option to play games, make memes or share stickers.

The company says that it used its over one decade of experience with creating online communities for children, such as Club Penguin, MarvelKids, and more. Disney Mix is based on Club Penguin, as the company has added new tools, moderation capabilities, and education resources in order to create the new app.

Upon registration on Disney Mix, users need to agree to a number of rules, including some that restrict giving out personal information, not using foul language or bullying other users. In addition, a team from Disney will be moderating content inside the app, to make sure that no bullying occurs or that users aren’t subjected to inappropriate content.

Children under the age of 13 can access the application, and Disney recommends parents that they talk to their children before registration.

The application is filled with all sort of stickers portraying Disney characters or play interactive games on the network. The app is available on Android and iOS.
