BlackBerry is known to offer some very useful applications on its BlackBerry Hub platform. Now, the company has just announced that it will make the Hub available to all Android devices running Android 6.0 Marshmallow or newer.

BlackBerry Hub+, as it’s called, is already available in the Google Play Store for free for 30 days. When the period expires, users can choose to see occasional ads or pay a $0.99 subscription per month.

The Hub comes with email, messaging, and social networking apps, as well as other accounts organized in one dashboard. BlackBerry Hub was previously only found on BlackBerry handsets running Android or BlackBerry 10 devices, like the Priv or DTEK50.

BlackBerry Hub+ will come with the Hub itself, BlackBerry Calendar, and a password manager for free. Users who subscribe will additionally get access to BlackBerry's Contacts, Tasks, Device Search, Notes, and Launcher.

The company has announced its intention to provide Android users with even more BlackBerry applications. BlackBerry Hub+ will also be arriving on Android Lollipop devices in the near future as the company is working hard on making it available to as many handsets as possible.

In addition, BlackBerry Hub+ is the first pure software offering from the new Mobility Solutions Group that belongs to BlackBerry. The business has already managed to exceed a run rate of $500 million a year and claims that it wishes to make BlackBerry software available to other platforms if possible.
