Are you one of the owners of the Sony Xperia C3 smartphone? Well, then we have a piece of good news for you this week.

According to the folks of Xperia Blog, the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update for the Xperia C3 owners has started rolling out in a number of regions. The build in question is 19.4.A.0.182 and is available for both the Xperia C3 (D2533) and the Xperia C3 Dual (D2502).

Luckily, unlike in most cases, the update isn’t being deployed in one region only, but is rolling out for owners of the Xperia C3 in several territories.

Still, if you are a user who hasn’t received the update yet, you can go ahead and check manually to see if it has arrived for your device by checking for System updates under Settings.

The Xperia C3 is a smartphone coming with a 5.5-inch display with 720 x 1280 pixel resolution (267 ppi). Under the hood lies a Snapdragon 400 processor working in combination with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD card slot).

The device also offers the services of an 8MP main snapper with autofocus and LED flash, plus a 5MP selfie camera with 720p and LED flash. Originally, the Xperia C3 shipped out with Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box, but now the phone is getting the latest Android 5.1.1.
