14 DAY TRIAL // Indian company Zen Mobile has just announced the immediate availability of its new 3G tablet, the UltraTab A700.
Customers in India can now purchase the UltraTab A700 3G for only Rs 9,499 off contract, which is about $175 or €130. The slate is available from major retailers across the country.
Strangely enough, even though the slate is called UltraTab A700 3G, it does not come with 3G connectivity. Instead, it allows users to attach a 3G USB dongle in order to benefit from higher download speeds.
AndroidOS reports that the tablet is powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and packs a 1.2 GHz single-core processor, 512MB of RAM and 4GB internal memory.
It also features a SIM slot card and sports a 7-inch display, along with a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls and a 3000 mAh Li-Ion battery.
