ZTE V81 Tablet Goes Official with 1.4 GHz Dual-Core CPU and Jelly Bean

Chinese company ZTE has just announced the upcoming availability of the V81 Android tablet. The slate is expected to hit shelves in the coming weeks for a price that will be unveiled closer to launch.

According to UnwiredView, ZTE V81 will ship with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box and packs a mildly powerful 1.4 GHz dual-core processor.

The tablet embeds 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.

ZTE V81 sports an 8-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (1024 x 768 pixel) resolution, as well as dual cameras (3-megapixel rear photo snapper and VGA front-facing camera).

Other highlights of the tablet include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and HSPA (21Mbps) support, along with HDMI, GPS and 3700 mAh Li-Ion battery.
