ZTE’s Windows Phone-powered Tania smartphone will arrive on the market in the UK only at the end of this month, recent reports on the matter suggest.

Apparently, the handset will be made available only on February 20th, one week later than originally announced, online retailer Clove has confirmed.

Moreover, the retailer has announced that the mobile phone will be cheaper than originally expected, sporting a price tag of £199.00 SIM free.

ZTE Tania packs great hardware capabilities at this price point: a 4.3-inch WVGA touchscreen and a 1GHz single-core processor, along with 4GB of internal memory, HSDPA and WiFi connectivity, WiFi hotspot and the like.

Not to mention that it is powered by Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7.5 operating system and that it delivers access to a wide range of applications and services designed for it.
